** Ottawa Work Location **
- Build and assemble wooden frames according to blueprints and specifications
- Cut and shape wood using hand and power tools
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly
- Install hardware, such as hinges and locks, onto frames
- Ensure frames are level, plumb, and square
- Inspect completed frames for quality and accuracy

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a framer or carpenter preferred
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Framing: 1 year (preferred)
