Scheduler / Dispatcher

As the **Scheduler/ Dispatcher,**you will play a critical role in the successful coordination of service and installation work, including scheduling and assigning work to field staff, and ensuring that the services we provide meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers.

**This is a full-time, permanent position beginning as soon as possible.**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs for field staff
- Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
- Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
- Communicating with field supervisors and team members to ensure workloads are maximized, and customer needs are managed proactively
- Reviewing reporting for accuracy
- Co-manage inventory to ensure necessary products are available for jobs
- Provide details to Purchasing on items that require replenishment
- Review and approve inbound invoices for accuracy and forward to purchasing for entry
- Provide KPIs and inputs that will be included in regular distribution to senior management
- Ensuring adherence to all safety programs and initiatives, including programs for field workers, and ensuring any necessary incident reports are completed
- Review the Project's overall completion schedule and filter all activities that impact the installation scopes of work
- Other duties as assigned

**Customer Relationship Management**:

- Develop and nurture strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Identify and communicate to customers and key stakeholders’ potential delays and/or issues with enough advance notice so the impacts can be mitigated and/or reduced

**Qualifications/ Required Skills**
- Previous dispatching and/or scheduling experience for teams of 20-50 people is mandatory
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Working experience with Connectteams and/ or Motive would be beneficial
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the landscape/ golf or sports field industry
- Exceptional time management skills with good ability to prioritize work with flexibility in a fast-paced environment under mínimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with excellent planning skills, decision-making and problem-solving ability
- Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to triage systems issue, develop solutions and execute plans
- Ability to work independently, is trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Strict attention to detail and ability to adhere to defined processes
- Ability to work within policies and practices of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to establish and effectively manage numerous priorities and meet deadlines
- Project management and golf/ service/ construction background - strong asset
- Familiar with internal processes (Tenders, Supply Chain, Quality, and their interfaces) - strong asset

**Must be available to occasionally work shift rotation after business hours, on weekends and holidays**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
