**The Role**
Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for being a liaison with stakeholders from various divisions, gathering and analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and processes, and testing solutions to ensure the requirements and future state processes are met. This position requires an effective communicator who has initiative, is well organized, and has leadership skills that fosters working relationships to ensure business and technology requirements align and drive business value.
Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for:
- Being a liaison with stakeholders from various divisions
- Gathering and analyzing business needs
- Documenting requirements and processes
- Testing solutions to ensure the requirements and future state processes are met
- Eliciting, documenting, validating, and communicating requirements
- Analyzing and documenting current and future state workflow processes
- Preparing and documenting test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases
- Testing solutions and managing defects - documenting issues, assigning for resolution and retest
- Developing training documentation and training end users
- Coordinating and orchestrating user acceptance testing and document results
- Managing multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
- Liaising with stakeholders from various divisions
- Acting as a Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst on various projects
- The Business Systems Analyst will be working with:
- The IT Business Management team to build resource and work plans that align with business priorities
- The Senior Architecture team to design a solution that meets the requirements
- The Technical Implementation team for the development and testing of the solution
- The Technology Support team to document the support processes required to transition the support of the solution from the working project team to the technical support team
This position requires an effective communicator who has initiative, is well organized, and has leadership skills that fosters working relationships to ensure business and technology requirements align and drive business value.
