The Machine Operator handles the operation of machines used in the fabrication, assembly, layout and framing of products in all lines. The Machine Operator will troubleshoot issues causing failures, drive continuous improvement of the production and maintenance operating, elevate issues impeding optimum performance.

**What you will be doing**:

- Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Understanding specifications of task at hand and desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
- Translating instructions into computer commands, so machines can perform the correct function.
- Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Preparing a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Setting machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large materials.
- Supervising the machines while they execute the tasks and making necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Combination of additional education and experience.
- Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
