The Analyst program in the Infrastructure Capital Markets group at BMO Capital Markets is a 2 year program that will be of interest to those individuals seeking practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic investment banking environment. The Analyst will gain valuable exposure to financial advisory and debt capital raising services for infrastructure, project finance, renewable energy, and Public Private Partnership (“P3”) sector clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and manage financial models used for P3 bidding processes and project financings
- Maintain a current understanding of infrastructure project pipeline and debt capital markets
- Develop expertise with rating agency methodologies and associated qualitative and quantitative credit analyses
- Update P3 projects and debt capital market databases
- Assisting on written presentations, RFP write-ups, and pitch material for clients
- Perform financial analysis for client coverage activities and internal updates on debt capital markets
- Work with other investment banking product and industry coverage group on transactions involving infrastructure, project finance, or investment grade debt issuances

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics, engineering, or accounting
- Relevant experience within engineering, accounting, corporate/project finance or investment/corporate banking experience
- Experience performing financial analysis in a client facing role is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, other groups, and clients
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects and tasks in an organized manner
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; VBA is preferred but not mandatory
- Demonstrated interest in working in capital markets and/or infrastructure role
