**Junior/Intermediate Accountant**

The Junior Accountant or Intermediate Accountant position is responsible for preparing tax returns (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5) and assist in routine bookkeeping for clients. Along with preparing financial statements and corproate and trust tax returns.

**Performance Expectations**
- Full file compilation engagement and personal and corporate income tax returns.
- Ability to complete full cycle bookkeeping of client files.
- Enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, checks and invoices in a ledger.
- Prepare standard entries and accruals.
- Various month end duties completed by assigned deadline.
- Perform related clerical duties, such as work processing, and maintaining filing and record systems.

**Credentials**
- Post Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance
- Working knowledge of computer programs such as word processing, database, spreadsheet, and accounting softwares (QBO, Sage, Caseware, Taxcycle)
- Ability to converse in Chinese is preferred ( Mandarin/Cantonese)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
