**Project Manager — Residential Excavations**
**Position Type**: Full-time, Residential Construction

**Overview**:
Join our team as a dynamic Project Manager overseeing residential basement excavation projects from planning through completion. This role blends **field knowledge** with **project management expertise**, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll coordinate crews, schedules, budgets, and documentation while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and manage residential excavation projects from start to finish
- Lead coordination between crews, equipment operators, subcontractors, and vendors
- Maintain accurate schedules, budgets, RFIs, permits, and change orders
- Oversee site safety, quality control, and code compliance
- Produce project reports, daily logs, and progress updates for stakeholders
- Organize and maintain digital project files using company systems (Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Facilitate project meetings and coordinate inspections
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources, equipment, and materials

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction (excavation experience preferred)
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience highly valued
- Strong administrative, scheduling, and budgeting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and digital documentation systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grading plans, and technical drawings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to project sites
