**Our Village of Riverside Glen, located in Guelph, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Full-Time BSO - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of NURSING to join their LONG-TERM CARE village team.**
**Internally known as PERT - Personal Expressional Resource Team**
**75 hours
- Biweekly with weekend rotation approximately 1/5 weekends and on call rotation approximately 2x/year.**

**To be successful as our new BSO - Assistant Director of Nursing Care, you will**:
- Have a current registration as a Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Maintain current Heart Save Level of CPR
- Support training, collaboration and development of the PERT Team
- Act as a Specialist Leader pertaining to all aspects of the Personal Expressions Resource Team
- Experience working with BSO concepts and protocols
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Assistant Director of Nursing Care role
**It would be an asset if our new Assistant Director of Nursing Care has**:
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation and regulations applicable to the long-term care sector, including the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 and Health & Safety
- Three (3) years of experience leading and directing department(s) in a healthcare setting
- Education and Experience in BSO practices
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care setting
