**Job Description**:
You will be responsible for safety and profitability of operations within the assigned district. The focus of this position is to meet client commitments and pursue future growth opportunities in the district related to our core Industrial Services business. Services offered include: demand and long-term industrial maintenance support, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, field construction and project management. The District Manager leads the execution of ClearStream’s Industrial Services in the assigned district ensuring alignment with ClearStream policies and procedures and is a role model to field supervision and crews, promoting ClearStream’s values and culture.

**You will bring 10+ years of experience in operational management. This role requires an understanding of mechanical, E&I, 3D scanning, insulation, and piplining service lines.**

**This is a permanent, salaried position with benefits and paid vacation.**

**What would you be doing?**
- Be responsible for the operation's P&L within your district.
- Provide input for the development of project work and planning. Provide recommendations including the execution of field work and project schedules. Engage clients and internal support functions (HSE, Recruitment, Project Controls, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, IT).
- Execute field activities in conformance with client requirements (drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards) and ClearStream's operational procedures/manuals.
- Ensure that field activities in the assigned territory meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule and cost through the efficient use of resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that daily and weekly short-range planning is maintained down to the foreman level.
- Monitor productivity and cost; implement appropriate action as required.
- Monitor and control change/scope; ensure change orders are approved prior to the performance of work.
- Ensure and/or perform on-site management, supervision and coordination of all subcontracted work.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Lead and foster an aligned corporate culture ensuring operational supervision is engaged with ClearStream’s core values, policies and processes.

- Analyze manpower in order to assist with recruitment, training and retention of staff.
- Pursue opportunities in the assigned territory for business growth and expansion through networking and local community involvement.
- Support and actively participate in the Strategic Account Management plan.

- Participate in developing annual goals of revenue and profitability for the District; develop short
- and long-term forecasts; accountable for the overall financial performance of the District including budget development, forecasting, monitoring, variance analysis and reporting on financial targets.

- Experience includes managing demand maintenance model, construction, fabrication, plant shutdowns, labour supply. Demonstrated experience and successful management of multiple projects with budgets of $5 - $20 million, utilizing upwards of 200 craft personnel and multiple contractors.
- Technical expertise in the mechanical/piping sector including shutdown/turnaround execution, long term maintenance programs, operations coordination, equipment management, cost estimating and bid development. Experience and ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals including technical mechanical/piping drawings and utilize MS office software and estimating, scheduling and/or project management programs.
- Highly effective at translating business priorities into operating realities with a proven ability to work at all levels (with customers and internally) to execute operating plans safely, within budget, with quality and schedule requirements.
- A very effective, people-oriented leader with a reputation for quickly building credibility and successfully attracting, mentoring, motivating and respecting employees.
