Mississauga, Canada JSM Law Full time

**JSM Law**is currently seeking an experienced, in-office **Personal Injury Lawyer**to join our team. The position is a full-time permanent position.

**Responsibilities for the Lawyer include, but are not limited to**:

- Assessing files based on medical evidence
- Meet with clients
- Drafting, reviewing, amending Pleadings
- Prepare Statements of Claim, Mediation Memorandum, trial records, etc.
- Research, factum writing, correspondence with opposing counsel
- Attend and represent clients for Motions, Examinations for Discovery, pre-trials, trials, etc.
- Settlement of claims
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications for Lawyer**
- J.D. or LL.B. with exceptional academic credentials;
- License to practice law in Ontario;
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- 3+ years of experience in Personal Injury;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills;
- Ability to work independently and strong work ethics;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.

**Salary**:

- Salary **commensurate to experience**
