**About You**
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, flexible, and compassionate individual to join our dynamic child care team as a School Age Care Team Lead in our Kids World School Age Care program for children ages 5-12 at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House located at 2131 Renfrew Street, Vancouver.
**About the Position**
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Minimum Responsible Adult for School Age program, ECE or degree in relevant area is an asset
- Minimum 2 year’s experience working in a childcare facility or similar programs
- Class 4 Driver’s License or ability to obtain asap is an asset
- Experience and passion working with children of all abilities
- Ability to implement emergent programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and the Early Learning Framework (BC) and able to lead the team in implementing its components
- Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with families and children
- Ability to nurture the strengths and talents of the staff team and build a team committed to achieving common goals
- Experience in effectively leading and inspiring staff, volunteers, and practicum students
- Positive attitude, flexibility, adaptability, sensitivity, creativity, initiative, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor
- Passion for ongoing professional development and growth
- Ability to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment
- Must be able to demonstrate strong communication, planning, organizational, and leadership skills
- First Aid Certificate
**Hours**: This is a regular full time position at 35 hours/week. It includes split shift: 7:30 to 9:00am and 2:15 to 6:00pm plus admin time. After probationary period, 7:30-9:00 shift will only be on an occasional basis and administrative time will be increased.
Pay: $26.19-$28.05 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
