**HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)**

**Project Coordination & Support**
- Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager with project administration and coordination across all phases.
- Support the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Coordinate project documentation and ensure timely distribution to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including contracts, schedules, reports, and correspondence.
- Book travel and accommodation for project personnel as needed.
- Liaise with field teams to maintain alignment between planning and on-site execution.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

**Estimating Support**
- Assist with the preparation of conceptual and detailed estimates for various project types (design-build, lump sum, cost-plus).
- Participate in takeoffs, cost data collection, and vendor/subcontractor pricing coordination.
- Support the preparation of bid submissions and ensure compliance with proposal requirements.
- Maintain estimation tools, databases, and cost history libraries under guidance from senior estimators.
- Attend bid reviews and contribute to risk and opportunity assessments.

**Project Lifecycle Administration**
- Track and manage change orders, ensuring client sign-off and budget alignment.
- Support contract administration and project close-out documentation.
- Assist in planning project startup logistics including permits, material procurement, and subtrade coordination.
- Support the scheduling and facilitation of project meetings, and document outcomes and action items.
- Identify and help resolve potential issues or delays, escalating as needed.

**Stakeholder Communication**
- Act as a point of contact between field operations and management teams.
- Support external communication with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities as directed.
- Prepare and distribute project status updates, dashboards, and reporting for internal and external use.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction/engineering or an equivalent field.
- EIT or P.Eng Designation are considered an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in estimating and/or project coordination
- Able to read and interpret building specifications, blueprints, and as-builds
- Mathematical and analytical skills necessary for development of material and labour estimates, and interpretations of job cost reports
- Able to use cost-estimating software to prepare cost quotes and bids
- Class 5 Driver’s License and an adequate 5-year Driver’s Abstract.
