**JOIN OUR TEAM**
**POSITION **SUMMARY**:
The Manager, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion undertakes projects focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion as a key priority of the organization. The position will develop external partnerships and relationships with champions to facilitate systemic change in support of MOSAIC’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The manager is responsible for creating and participating in EDI networks and communities of practice, facilitating public discourse on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and undertaking initiatives that contribute to inclusion and equity practices in the workplace. This position is primarily responsible for two distinct yet related roles. Externally the manager is tasked with the development and implementation of diversity and inclusion training programs that meet the equity needs of clients/the market. Internally the manager is tasked with the development of policies, and structures that promote an inclusive and equitable organizational culture at MOSAIC. This role requires someone who can develop and implement Inclusion training courses, manage resources, and cultivate relationships to meet the goals of the Centre for Diversity.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Stay well informed of trends and innovations related to EDI in and outside of the sector, to assess the effectiveness of ongoing efforts and identify and develop new initiatives, approaches, and programs
- Make recommendations in programming, and events, as well as work in close collaboration with the human resources team to make changes to policies and procedures to ensure EDI best practices
- As an ambassador for MOSAIC, participate in, and co-host regional EDI consortiums with cross-sector partners and attend conferences, forums, and other professional membership events
- Develop content and coordinate/facilitate EDI workshops
- Co-chair and provide operational management for the internal EDI Committee
- Manage deliverables, timelines, and budgets related to EDI initiatives (Internal and external)
- Monitor projects against milestones, report and inform partners and clients of delays or issues
- Assist in implementing a marketing strategy through various means, including design, production, and distribution of print and online communications of EDI training courses
- Lead in negotiating and procuring inclusion and diversity workshop contracts and projects with public or private sector organizations, and in providing client support and service to completion of the contract cycle.
