**HR Advisor, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility**

Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Dunsmuir 10

Employment type: Temporary Region: Lower Mainland

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid

Annual salary: $ 87,700.00 - 110,900.00

**What you'll do**
- Oversees a portfolio of low risk, medium impact/complexity projects and has overall accountability for the results of those

projects.
- Manage BC Hydro’s Accessibility Plan, track our progress against goals, maintain feedback mechanism, respond to

internal/external feedback, prepare for the next reporting cycle.
- Maintain and evolve relationships with external partners on accessibility (Presidents Group, CAN WiN, WorkBC, CNIB,

Inclusion BC)
- Chair BC Hydro’s Accessibility Committee and maintains the Hydro Web site that explains the work.
- Develop knowledge of workforce metrics and reporting.
- Conduct process reviews of existing HR processes for accessibility considerations.
- Conduct research on best practices on accessibility and the inclusion of people with disabilities.
- Speak internally and externally about inclusion and accessibility at BC Hydro.
- Develop tools and resources for people leaders and employees on disability, accessibility and inclusion.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to help identify improvements that contribute to advancing accessibility.
- Report on the progress of accessibility focused programs and initiatives.
- Acts as an advisory resource to business groups on accessibility.
- Plan company-wide events such as Learn at Work week (Oct 2024), Take Your Kid to Work Day (Nov 2024), preparation

for the Connections Conference (Oct 2025) or other initiatives.
- May also facilitate Inclusive Leadership course (LEAD 133) or other training/workshops.

**What you bring**
- A Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum six years of progressively more responsible experience. Project Management experience will be an asset.
- Courses in Project Management (for example, PMI certification as a Project Management Professional) or equivalent
- practical experience.
- Knowledge of and experience in change management practices including courses in Change Management (for example

PROSCI or BC Hydro Change Management courses) or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholder

groups.
- Strong communication skills, including writing and facilitation.
