Established in 2004, Access Property Development has been developing, constructing, and maintaining quality storage facilities for 15 years. Overseeing more then 200 properties across Canada, APD has provided a consistently high level of service while also cultivating beneficial relationships with established trade partners. As one of the first companies to offer the services of a fully in-house construction company, APD can control up to 50% of storage construction costs by providing a fully Licensed HVAC and Electrical division along with in-house Locker installation and Project Management Services.

We are currently seeking a project coordinator to assist and coordinate project management activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Assist in project manager’s coordination of architects and consultants
- Assist project managers in projects, material orders, change requests, cost control
- Assist with preparation of documents such as schedules, budgets, scope of work
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Coordinate development of user manuals, training materials, and other documentations as needed
- Using MS Project, developing schedules that are thought out and used to track progress
- Participate in client meetings and communications
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
- Attend on-site walkthroughs
- Follow up on assigned tasks in a timely manner and coordinate with team members and vendors to identify and resolve issues
- Periodic travel is required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

- Minimum high school diploma
- Minimum 3-year experience as a Project Coordinator on industrial/ commercial projects
- PMP certification is an asset
- Valid Ontario G license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lead a team by being a good and effective communicator
- Excellence in building rapport and creating a team environment where all those with project responsibilities work well together
- Good time management skills
- Ability to determine potential risks while devising proactive ways to solve them
- Excellence in the budgeting of financial resources
- Ability to welcome feedback and use it to improve the quality of production
- Excellence in verbal and oral communication skills
- Willing to travel periodically and stay overnight as required

Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time, day position
- 2 weeks paid vacation to start after probation

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
