Our team is seeking a highly motivated _Trade Show & Inside Sales Representative to_ be a part of the House of Jewellery family.
The _Trade Show Manager _is responsible for planning, organizing and managing all aspects of trade shows. They will work with vendors, customers and all other stakeholders to ensure that everything goes smoothly during and after the event(s).
A successful _Tradeshow Manager_ is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of duties and coordinate among many teams and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible, and enjoys the challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. Please keep in mind that our trade show business is seasonal and as a result this is a hybrid role alongside working as an Inside Sales Representative.
The _Inside Sales Representative_ is responsible for achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
A successful _Inside Sales Representative _must have excellent communication skills, be very organized and perseverance to help them combat clients who are not interested. They must be good at building and maintaining strong relationships and working with clients to understand how we can help meet their needs. They should have a passion for the jewellery and fashion industry and be willing to work hard to achieve company sales targets.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities for Trade Show Manager**:
- Responsible for the selection of booths, contracts, deposits & payments for trade shows across Canada (Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver)
- Ensuring all contracts are fulfilled by exhibitors according to established rules and regulations
- Managing the budget for the company’s participation in the trade show, including costs for booth space, equipment rentals, shipping, labor, advertising and other expenses
- Finalize a universal trade show set up and design that can be used across the country but is visually appealing and cost effective
- Actively involved in the selection and creation of trade show samples, displays and other merchandising assets
- Work with marketing to create trade show specific marketing assets and promotional material
- Creation of trade show operating policies, order form creation and return policies
- Work with procurement to decide final sample selection along with estimated delivery date for items displayed at the trade show
- Responsible for staffing trade shows with appropriate levels of staffing and budgeting
- Assist in order fulfillment and coordinating order fulfilment among client service administrators in the office
- Travel to trade shows throughout Canada and eventually the United States
- Responsible for booth dismantle and tear down, safe custody of sample and booth materials to appropriate storage facilities/head office
- Responsible for taking a live inventory of all office supplies, props and other material needed at the trade show and ensuring unaccountable items are spoken for
- Actively managing any custom orders or any orders that have special details such as packaging, labelling etc
- Identifying potential customers at trade shows and developing relationships with them.
- Actively responsible for following up with target clients before the show, making appointments and following up with clients after the trade show
- Coordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency relating to trade shows
- Working on creating a trade show policy manual for the office
- Dealing with any customer complaints, trade show issues or general issues as they arise
- Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work & trade show environment
- Provide any updates to CEO and director as required or needed
- General Administrative Duties as required.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities for Inside Sales Representative**:
- Create an outlined script and advertise our products via phone to interested consumers in a manner that is professional and honest.
- Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage work flow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
- Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with.
- Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference and to answer questions.
