**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, cakes, and desserts.
- prepare and bake sourdough bread and pastries
- Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed.
- Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and techniques.

**Qualifications**
- minimum of 2 **years** of experience in Baking industry is needed
- diploma in culinary, license and certification is an **asset** but will by highly considered
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in cake decorating is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely..
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB T3E 3B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
