General Manager

**Duties**:

- Oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance throughout the Restaurant.
- Coordinate with other managers/supervisors to ensure smooth operations and efficient guest service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and vendors.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of banquet, catering, coffee, food production, assistant manager, bartending is a plus.

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton, ON L9T 0J4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (required)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
