Job Overview:
**Duties**:
- Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize efficiency.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during transportation, such as traffic delays or mechanical problems.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
As an Independent Contractor, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule and take on projects that align with your skills and interests. This position allows you to be your own boss and manage your workload.
Please note that this is a contract position, and as an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and other business-related expenses.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $15.20-$76.06 per hour
