Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor (In person)Join to apply for the Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor (In person) role at Homewood Health Centre.Location: Longueuil, QC (South Shore) – In-person, occasional, contract basis for Homewood Health Stay at Work Services, Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).What you'll be doingProvide short-term, highly focused, solution-oriented counseling to address concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationship issues, stress management and addictionsWork with adult individuals, couples, families and childrenAdhere to professional standards and best practicesEngage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as requiredWhat we're looking forMaster’s Degree in a counselling related field; or Bachelor of Social Work with appropriate registration and counselling experienceRegistration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province of practice3 years experience in counselling, social services, or addiction service settingsExperience working in the EFAP field is an assetProfessional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood HealthExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsWritten and verbal French language fluency is an assetAbility to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)Why work with usWe are driven by our values and are passionate about improving lives.
