LIFT Fitness & Physiotherapy is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Kinesiologist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Athletic Therapist or Personal Trainer to join our growing team. LIFT is a boutique training studio that has been in business for going on 12 years in the Port Moody area and has clientele from beginners to athletes. LIFT prides itself on customer service and goal satisfaction. We are looking for a Kinesiologist or Personal Trainer to assist in the following fields: Active Rehab (Kin only), Team Training, One on One Training and Group Physio Classes (to be assistant to a physiotherapist).

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct the assessment and construction of training/rehab/wellness plans with attainable goals and outcomes
- Oversee Team program periodization’s
- Provide education, recommendations, and advice to colleagues with an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly approach
- Design and implement individual and team training plans for athletes and clients of all ages
- Integrate and work collaboratively with the LIFT team
- Creating new programs from the planning and scheduling phase to implementation
- Stay active in professional development and maintain current expert knowledge in the field
- Maintain training area in a safe and clean manner

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education with a focus on Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Sports Sciences, Athletic Therapy or a related field is a bonus
- BCPRA certified or equivalent for Personal Trainers
- Registration with an exercise related governing body (BCAK, CSEP-CEP, C.S.C.S, ACSM Exercise Specialist, or equivalents) will also be looked at. OR Currently attending Kinesiology related degree
- Current First Aid and CPR
- ASSEST: 1+ years experience working in the field of Kinesiology/Athletic Therapy/ performance training
- Capable of working effectively in a team environment and independently
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
