The Restoration Project Coordinator is a front-line role, working with Project Managers who are dedicated to customer service. Restoration Project Coordinators work with owners, in house tradesmen, and sub-contractors after events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a Restoration Project Coordinator, you will supervise the renovation, as well as manage costs with the insurance provider. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field.

He or She will be responsible for:

- Coordination of all subcontractors and general repair project schedules
- Utilization of a Work Order System and working within a pre-determined budget amount
- The monitoring of job costing and those jobs are proceeding as expected
- Regular site visits to review each stage of repair, confirm high quality workmanship and sub-contractor efficiency
- Able to communicate job status with other team members and customers, assure all items are addressed appropriately
- Provide notes and progress reports to the Project Manager
- Ensure all jobs are started and completed within a specified timeline
- Routine calls to subcontractors to assure they will be on site and confirm the start time
- Maintain contact with sub-contractors regarding material purchases and invoicing
- Ongoing recruitment of new trade partners
- Ensure compliance of job site safety, all sub-contractors have signed applicable documentation as well are WSIB compliant, registered with HST and have Business Insurance
- Any other duties as assigned
- All other duties and responsibilities to accommodate The Perfect File.

This position requires that you are available for an on-call rotation after hours and weekends for emergency services calls and work.

Minimum 1 year experience in the construction and/or restoration industry or formal training in a related field preferred, but not necessary.

Qualification Standards: Applicants may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been dishonest as it relates to experience, convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary, or similar convictions.

Class G License required.
