Loader Operator

- _TANAS_ *- is looking for a qualified and motivated Loader Operator to join our team at our Airdrie Ready-Mix Concrete plant.

If you have _**experience**_ operating Front End Loaders, and Skid Steers, are comfortable in a fast-paced environment - this may be the position you have been looking for. This position also involves general plant/yard service and housekeeping. The ability to lift more than 50 lbs. will be necessary to perform this job. Your work week will typically be Monday to Friday with overtime.

**Summary**

In the role of Loader Operator / Yard Hand, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our warehouse and yard, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include heavy lifting and loader operation, ensuring the safe and effective movement of materials. With core skills in order picking and relevant experience in construction, you will contribute to shipping and receiving processes. Your premium skills in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, will enhance our operational efficiency and support our commitment to safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate loader equipment to efficiently move materials within the yard.
- Perform heavy lifting and order picking to ensure timely distribution of goods.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Utilize forklifts and clamp trucks for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and workflow.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in loader operation and heavy lifting
- Proficient in operating forklifts and clamp trucks
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution and management systems
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform order picking and loading/unloading tasks
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
