Job Title: Electrical Panel Technician
**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Inspection and Repair:
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical panels and associated equipment.
- Identify and repair faults and issues in electrical panels and related systems.
- Replace or repair faulty components and ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
2. Installation and Commissioning:
- Install and commission new electrical panels and equipment.
- Perform necessary adjustments and calibrations to optimize the performance of electrical panels.
3. Preventive Maintenance:
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures.
- Prepare and maintain reports on the status of electrical panels and recommend improvements.
4. Emergency Response:
- Respond to electrical and panel-related emergencies and issues in the factory.
- Provide immediate solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
5. Coordination with Other Teams:
- Collaborate with other technical and engineering teams to ensure coordination between electrical systems and other factory systems.
- Provide technical advice to production and maintenance teams regarding electrical issues.
6. Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and electrical standards while performing repairs and installations.
- Educate staff on safety practices and key considerations related to electrical panels.
7. Documentation Management:
- Maintain records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare technical reports and document information for tracking and analysis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in electrical panels and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical teams.
- Proficiency in managing documentation and preparing technical reports.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or relevant technical education in electrical or electronics fields.
- Relevant work experience in electrical panel maintenance and repair.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
**Experience**:
- Journeyman Electrician: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
