**Overview**

We seek a motivated and skilled **Customer Support and Field Technician** to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the frontline representative for technical support and service calls, providing exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment on-site, as well as offering remote support when needed.

**The Roll**
- Perform service calls to customer locations to install, repair, and maintain equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Educate customers on proper equipment use, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
- Collaborate with the internal team to provide feedback on recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times.
- Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments so that products and services can be improved.
- Familiarizing yourself with new products and services as they are introduced.
- Attending training and meetings as required.
- Providing training to new customer service agents.
- Respect client confidentiality at all times.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a technical support or field service role.
- Strong mechanical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and car to travel as required.

**Preferred Skills**
- Technical certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, mechanics, Engineering).
- Familiarity with mechanical, sewing or steam products.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including client facilities or factory settings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
