**IT and Database Support Technician**

Eitz Chaim Schools is seeking a technologically savvy individual to provide IT and Database support to our campuses.

The Support Technician’s responsibilities will include:

- Install and configure computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, projectors
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and networks
- Replace projectors or computer parts as required
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Create easy to understand manuals and guides
- Thinking of creative solutions and advancements in education technology
- Troubleshoot database related issues and provide support to the Database Manager
- Assist secretaries, teachers, admin with daily database tasks as needed
- Non-IT related issues - thermostat troubleshooting or other minor tasks

**Skills**

You will need to show evidence of the following:

- Logical thinking/ creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of IT principles and how software and operating systems work
- Ability to establish the nature of an issue, communicate technical solutions effectively
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to prioritize open tickets
- AI prompting
- Attention to detail
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality

**Qualifications**
- Degree in related field and/or 1-3 years’ experience in computer systems maintenance
- Experience with the following a plus: Blackbaud Education products/FE/RE, Fortigate/FortiOS, Meraki, Google Admin, Google Classroom, MS Server and GPOs

**Job details**
- 40 hours per week - evenings or weekends are periodically required
