**Job Summary**
FICS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Policy and Program Integrity Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the response to appeals of accreditation decisions, providing thorough and timely reviews and response reports, and investigate any complaints related to the accreditation process. You will also be responsible for revising and organizing accreditation policies and process documents to ensure they are clear, fair, and effective.
FICS provides consulting services including facilitation, leadership development, and accreditation program development and management. As a member of our growing team of Accreditation Specialists, you will work with clients in the education and healthcare sectors, including organizations like the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation, the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, and Humane Canada.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the review and response process for accreditation decision appeals, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to established policies.
- Investigate complaints related to the accreditation process or standards compliance, gathering relevant information, analyzing issues, and providing clear recommendations or resolutions.
- Organize, write, and revise accreditation policies to ensure they are aligned with best practices as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Organize and update documentation to support the accreditation process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that accreditation policies are consistently applied and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance and support to clients regarding accreditation policies, appeals, and complaints as needed.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 4-years previous experience which includes the following:
- Supporting accreditation processes or programs
- Policy writing and review, complaint investigation, or dispute resolution.
- Implementing formal quality improvement processes
- University degree in a related field such as education, business administration, communication, sciences, health care, or healthcare services administration
- Proven ability to handle sensitive issues, value and protect confidentiality, and make sound decisions.
- Demonstrated research, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strengths in professional interpersonal communication
- Strong written communication skills, with expertise in using plain language.
- Ability to work in French and English would be an asset
- Internet and technology savvy and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel)
- Regulatory experience including evaluating adherence to standards or competencies for the purposes of licensing or certification would be an asset.
This part-time opportunity will require 20 hours of work per week, with a salary range of between $30 and $35 per hour. FICS is open to hiring a part-time permanent employee, or a consulting contract. Employees can also opt into a shared-cost health benefits plan.
This role offers the option to work remotely or in-person from our Ottawa office. Regular visits to the office for team collaboration would be beneficial. The FICS team includes both in-office and remote team members

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
