**WAGE RATE: $39.16 - $50.77**

The BSW/MHC-B will be part of the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy program. They will deliver individual and group protocol-based structured psychotherapy to individuals experiencing mild to moderate depression, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions within their community and the Ontario West region. They will participate in regular clinical consultation to ensure high quality service delivery and adherence to the OSP Clinical Model.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:
**BSW**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)

**MHC-B**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related health or Social Science field
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)

**Both**:

- Experience in the provision of mental health and/or addictions treatment (2-3 years preferred)
- Experience utilizing evidence-based CBT treatment models with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and anxiety related conditions
- Documented evidence of formal CBT and CPT training with appropriate supervision/clinical consultation preferred. Additional training in cognitive processing therapy (CPT) preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and practiced skills in providing culturally safe and responsive mental health services to clients of diverse ethno-racial and cultural backgrounds is preferred
- Experience working in a community-based or outpatient setting
- Knowledge in the science and practice of individual and group-based psychotherapy, Individual and group CBT, CPT and/or other evidence-based psychotherapies for treating clients with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety (including obsessive-compulsive concerns and post-traumatic stress)
- Distinguishing features of depression, anxiety, and anxiety related conditions, and the etiology and treatment of these disorders
- Comprehensive understanding of a strengths-based, trauma-informed, client-centered framework for mental health/addictions treatment
- Motivational interviewing techniques to assess treatment readiness.
- Intersectionality and social determinants of health related to equitable access to, and participation in mental health care
- Anti-racist, anti-oppressive theory and practice principles in mental health/addictions at a client and system-level
- Relevant sections of legislation, i.e. Mental Health Act, Personal Health Information Protection Act, Regulated Health Professions Act, Health Care Consent Act, and professional standards to ensure compliance and consistency in provision of client care
- Computer software to generate correspondence and input data for a variety program specific tools e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, workload measurement, and electronic health records
- Knowledge of teaching techniques to support adult learning
- Ability to provide practicum supervision for students in the field
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
