**WAGE RATE: $44.67 - $57.90**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:
**MSW**:

- Master’s degree in Social Work and membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)

**MHC-M**:

- Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology or a related health or Social Science field
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)

**Both**:

- Minimum 5 years recent experience in the community and/or hospital setting working with individuals with significant mental health needs
- Minimum 5 years recent experience providing mental health training, education, and support to staff and the community
- Demonstrated excellence in completing crisis assessments and risk assessments for individuals in mental health crisis
- Ability to respond and prioritize multiple departmental requests to provide quality client centered care
- Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions in a fast paced, stressful emergent environment
- Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, DSM-V, Health Care and Consent Act, Substitute Decision Makers Act, and Child and Family Services Act
- Training and experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Training and experience in Single Session Therapy
- Training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Knowledge and appreciation of Recovery Principles
- Knowledge of side effects of medication and strategies to cope with those side effects
- C.P.I. training up to date
- C.P.R. - basic certification
- Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ driver’s license and access to reliable transportation - traveling may be required
- Proven ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
- Able to work all shifts, 24/7, including weekends, and ability for multi-site coverage if required
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
