**The Opportunity**:
Winsham is a leading wholesaler, manufacturer, and distributor of bed, bath, table, healthcare, kitchen, and utility linen. We are a favourite Canadian supplier to commercial and institutional customers, as well as the hospitality, healthcare, and special events industry.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being our primary goal. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing all warehousing operations (inbound, internal movements and outbound activities) at our distribution centre. This is a hands-on position that requires interaction with a multi-cultural team, led by example.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily operational tasks related to shipping, receiving, pick/pack, and put-away of inventory
- Printing required labels from appropriate data files
- Creating and improving processes to facilitate a high efficiency workflow
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders
- Facilitate training for team members
- Liaising with Operations to achieve company goals
- Assigning resources and job priority
- Ensuring all jobs are completed correctly and on time
- Ensuring the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet service standards
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, and operating IT systems

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Strong people skills with at least 3 years of operations related supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Administratively sound with excellent time management skills
- Ensure the accuracy of the labels and invoices generated
- Ensure and maintain the accuracy of inventory
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Punctual, reliable, motivated team-player
- Ability to tolerate potentially long periods of time on your feet
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Self-starter/work with very little supervision
- High attention to detail
- CSA approved Safety Shoes (green label) are required

**Ability to commute**:
Markham, ON: reliably commute to work location
