This position requires a competent level of communication and organizational skills that is guided by the Production Manager. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in day to day working relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Production Manager in organizing production focused tasks including the setup of processing lines and allocating staff to achieve daily goals and KPI’s.
- Working with different production lines and lead hands to become familiar with and actively manage production areas.
- Enter and keep track of serial #’s for the purpose of traceability.
- Manage the ERP system to ensure all items are correctly entered and ready to ship.
- Ensure customer quality standards are adhered to and related issues are responded to in a timely manner.
- Monitor and respond to day-to-day product and process concerns and ensure just in time delivery.
- Effectively managing workforce, including training, coaching and discipline.
- Decision-making and problem solving of any technical or scheduling issues arising during the shift.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have some leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and be relatively good with numbers.
- Have good computer skills.
- Be a Team Player.
