Winnipeg's leading Security Company specializing in Security Guards, IP cameras, access and alarm security integration. We operate one of Canada's largest LIVE video monitoring centers. We live video monitor cameras across Canada and capture criminals in the act from the comfort of our state-of-the-art facility in Winnipeg.
- Must be excellent at operating a computer and have good communication skills both written and spoken.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no restrictions and a clean driver's abstract.
- Must have a Full Security Guard License issued by the Province of Manitoba.
- Must have a valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Must be available to take shifts assigned on short notice
- Must have 24/7 open working availability
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
- 1 or more years of security experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responds to calls on short notice, to fill in open shifts as required.
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, assets, and personnel.
- Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
- Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
- Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.
- Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
- Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

**Salary**: $15.30-$20.30 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
