**Video Monitoring Operator - Live Video Monitoring Centre**
**Location**: Winnipeg, MB
**About the Role**: As a Video Monitoring Operator in our Live Video Monitoring Centre, you will oversee a team of agents as they monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in one of Canada's largest live video monitoring facilities, providing 24/7 surveillance and protection across the country.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee staff in monitoring and responding to alarms to protect client locations.
- Manage scheduled remote patrols and provide leadership and guidance to your team.
- Dispatch security personnel and law enforcement as needed.
- Document incidents and prepare reports for management and clients.
- Handle various administrative tasks and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Answering incoming phone calls.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is preferred.
- Ability to work night and weekend shifts.
- Proficiency in computer operations and a typing speed of 85 WPM.
- Reliable transportation to our location in St. Boniface Industrial Park (free parking provided).

We live video monitor cameras across Canada and capture criminals in the act from the comfort of our state-of-the-art facility in Winnipeg.
- Should have experience in an office setting.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have very strong communication skills (English written and spoken).
- Must have excellent computer & telephone skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a minimum typing skill of 85 WPM.
- Must be able to handle working in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Training is provided, and security experience is appreciated but not required as we are not security guards.
Must be excellent at operating a computer and have good communication skills both written and spoken.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.30-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
