**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to nursing staff or family members.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following hygiene protocols and safety guidelines.
- Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with hospice care needs when required, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or health care roles is preferred; experience in senior care, hospice care, or home care is highly valued.
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and practices is an asset; certification as a nurse aide is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
