INCASA Home Care Services is looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and proactive Health Care Aide to be part of our team. Our agency is looking for Caregivers who provides services to individuals of all ages. We are looking for caregivers with excellent communication skills, compassionate nature, and the flexibility to assist our clients in home care settings. We are currently looking for an experienced Health Care Aid’s in Edmonton who has open an availability. Working with Incasa Home Care, you will be working with a growing home care agency where you will be valued and treated like family. Our Care Managers will be there to support our staff every step of the way. Health Care Aide’s must have an open availability of every Tuesday, every Thursday, every second Saturday and Every Sunday to be hired in this role. Employees are to have completed the Health Care Aide program and actively registered with the Alberta HCA Directory.

**Key Responsibilities**:Health Care Aids are to complete tasks within their Scope of Practice Assists. Tasks that entails in this position, is as follows;
**ADLS**:

- Medication Assistance
- Personal Care
- Well balanced Nutritionist meals
- Transfer Assistance
- Companionship

**IADLS;**
- Light House Keeping
- Transportation Services

All employees at Incasa Home Care must be able to complete and document accurately and carry out all tasks assigned through our mobile soft wear app.

**Job Requirements**:

- Health Care Aide Certificate, or relevant education
- Registered with Alberta HCA Directory
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with seniors.

**SCHEDULE: LEDUC AREA**

**WORK: Every Tuesday/Thursday/ EVERY SECOND WEEKEND (SATURDAY/SUNDAY)**
- **Tuesdays: - 9:00AM TO 5:45PM**:

- **Thursdays: 9:00AM TO 5:45PM**:

- **Every Second Saturday: 10:00am-4:45pm**:

- **Every Second Sunday: 10:00am-4:45pm.**

Monday/Wednesday/Friday and every second weekend : OFF

MANDATORY: (Must Drive)

**Experience**:

- Home Care: 2-3 years (preferred)
- Senior Care: 2- 3 years (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker Certificate Driving Licence
- Active in the HCA Directory
- Up to date Police Clearance
- Up to date CPR/FIRST AID Certification
- Work within your HCA scope within an interdisciplinary health care professional team
- Assist clients within facilities and Home-Care settings

Assist with services within your Scope of Practice as a Health Care Aid, utilizing professional experience and nursing judgement when providing care to clients

Competent and confident in skills and abilities as a Health Care Aid

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $20.00 -$21.00 per hour

Class 5 Licence (required) MUST DRIVE
