We are seeking a full-time Front Counter Parts Person/ Vehicle Processor to join our team.

**Job Summary**:
The Front Counter Parts Person/ Vehicle Processor is a combined role within our Affiliated Auto Wrecking division. The Front Counter Parts Person is the central point of contact for the customers of Affiliated Auto Wrecking and as such, you are expected to contribute positively to the overall customer satisfaction for BN Steel & Metals (BN), its affiliates, and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for providing support to our primary Front Counter Parts Person and assist customers in finding the parts that are required. When Front Counter duties are not required, you will be responsible for performing a full range of vehicle processing works, and ensuring proper shop and yard up-keep.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **As Front Counter Parts Person**:_
- Greets guests of the company at the front desk
- Answers questions and addresses complaints
- Manages the cash box
- Handles all cash transactions, cash counts, and cash in/out
- Receives and issues incoming and outgoing payments by cash, cheque, credit, debit, and e-transfer
- Handles phone system and messages
- Keeps track of shipments
- Orders stock as required
- Keeps offices and front area neat and tidy
- **As Vehicle Processor**:_
- Dismantling used vehicles for salvageable parts
- Ensuring tidiness of worksite and shop areas
- Yard up-keep
- All other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or GED equivalent is preferred
- Knowledge or previous experience in automotive, manufacturing, production or similar scrap yard industry is strongly preferred
- Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred
- Can do heavy lifting, repititive task
