Parts Associate/Service Writer will support the parts & service counter both for internal customers (technicians) and external customers. Competitive wages & benefits. Shift hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 am-4:30 pm (some days require overtime)

**Responsibilities**:

- Greets customers & takes orders in-person & over the phone
- Determines replacement part required, according to inspection of old part, customer request, or customer description of malfunction
- Quotes parts & lead-times
- Utilizes both catalog & on-line resources to secure necessary parts to meet customer needs
- Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies & placing orders when order points are reached
- Completes sales by entering purchased items into the sales/inventory system, obtaining payment, adding purchases to credit account & issuing sales receipts
- Stocks items by unpacking & placing items into bins & on shelves & service trucks
- Processes customer returns
- Schedules in service work with service manager
- Communicates with customers regarding status of work
- Finalizes service work orders & collects payment
- Shipping & receiving, with forklift experience preferred

**Requirements**:

- Must have driver's license
- Must be able to do physical work
- A positive and professional attitude in the shop or at a customer site
- Strong customer service & organizational skills
- Take pride and professionalism in a clean shop, work space, and quality of repairs
- Work as a team player and contribute to team success and growth
- Punctuality and attendance is a must
- Microsoft office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
