Buying and Selling Associates are responsible for appraising items of value that customers are wishing to sell or use as collateral for a loan. Associates must have the ability to quickly research items and their current fair market values while determining an items authenticity, condition, and the stores potential profit by either reselling purchased merchandise or selling unclaimed loan collateral. Associates will work with a wide variety of merchandise including but not limited to jewelry, video games, tools, musical instruments, cell phones, home audio and other electronics. With proper training Associates can communicate effectively with customers to determine their needs, offer helpful solutions based on the customer’s needs, negotiate, and explain product values and loan terms.

**Wage**:

- Compensation package that includes a base wage plus uncapped commissions: most of our associates make between $15 and $18 hourly.**Benefits**:

- Completion of High school
- 18 years of age or more
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
- Able to perform basic math such as subtraction, addition, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as in a team
- Strong and motivated work ethic
- The desire in serving customers, and working with people
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Computer literate and able to operate common office machines- *This wage range is not a guaranteed rate. The range presented is an approximation based on current associates’ commissions and base wages. As it is an uncapped structure, associates may make more than presented, though associates are guaranteed their base wage as outlined by their employment contract.*_
