**About the Role**
The Company has an Actuarial Analyst Development Program that provides support for actuarial exams.
**Responsibilities**: (include but not limited to):
- Support the quarterly valuation process and analysis of the reserves under US GAAP LDTI (Long-Duration Targeted Improvements) and PBR (US Statutory Principles-Based Reserves) bases;
- Implement assumption changes and maintain the existing AXIS model including development of new cells;
- Support experience studies;
- Perform model refinements in AXIS;
- Assist with special projects to enhance financial and capital management capabilities of the Company;
- Maintain procedural documentation;
- Make recommendations on process improvements;
- Ensure that processes have appropriate controls and comply with actuarial guidelines.
**What you will bring to the role**:
- Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field;
- Completed 2 or more examinations of the Society of Actuaries;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong technical and analytical skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Access;
- Knowledge of insurance products and Moody’s AXIS is preferred;
- Experience with coding using Visual Basic or other programming languages is a plus;
- Great team player.
