**Salary**: $2,345.14 to $3,076.28 bi-weekly ($61,208- $80,290/year)

Parks Division is responsible for infrastructure management, program delivery and visitor services functions to ensure outdoor, nature-based recreation opportunities for all Albertans that are safe, sustainable, accessible and enjoyable.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Highlights of roles and responsibilities will require the ability to:

- Operate and deliver the Alberta Parks campground reservation/registration service in area parks.
- Oversee retail operations, planning, purchase, inventory of the campground store and caretaking services, and liaise with Maintenance and Recreation and Resource staff for compliance.
- Identify, market and promote the delivery of retail operations within Athabasca and Cold Lake Area.
- Provide leadership to seasonal staff to ensure efficient visitors booth service delivery and high-quality customer service.
- Manage budget and revenues generated by Visitor Services program including developing projections, tracking expenditures, payment systems management, revenue reconciliation and reporting.
- Make recommendations for improvements to area business and information operations.
- Provide administrative functions related to Visitor Services Program.

**Qualifications**:

- Education:

- Two-year diploma in a related field such as Business Administration, Tourism, or Environmental, and 2 years related experience.

Equivalency:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
- Additional Requirements:

- Exceptional knowledge of and experience in computer use of a variety of computer software (including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher).
- Strong interpersonal skills, and supervisory experience and skills with the ability to motivate, train and lead variety of staff in an intense and demanding work environment.
- Knowledge of: business processes, Alberta Parks’ mandate, structure and goals as well as Customer Services.
- Assets, Knowledge of:

- Tourism
- Retail industry
- Organization and time management
- Valid Standard First-Aid and CPR level C + AED certificate
- Food Safety Certificate
