Basic Grain Products Inc. is a well-established and widely recognized snack food manufacturer located in Coldwater, Ohio, with over 30 years of success and excellence. True to our commitment to excellence, we are seeking dynamic and talented individuals to add to our dedicated team. We are currently seeking a **Assistant General Manager **to join us at our Head Office in Burnaby, BC.

This opportunity is well-suited for individuals who are seeking solid long-term careers and are interested in rapid advancement. Must be able to think analytically, multi-task, and to work collaboratively across departments.

Our office is easily accessible via public transit; we are conveniently close to the Production Way Skytrain Station.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the General Manager in overseeing and coordinating business operations across key departments, including Production, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, R&D, and Finance.
- Implement and execute business strategies, plans, and programs to meet organizational objectives and drive growth.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in the food industry.
- Minimum education of Bachelor Science Degree.
- MBA preferred but not a prerequisite.
- Experience in manufacturing food plant environment.
- Ability to guide, develop and hold accountable managers and front-line employees.
- Proven ability to create strategies aligned with organizational plans and execute to deliver on measurable objectives.
- Proven track record in production.
- An independent self-starter who excels in a team environment and is results oriented.
- Demonstrates strong financial acumen.
- Must be positive, industrious, and passionate about leadership and food production.
