The **Billing/Procurement Analyst** is responsible for researching complex billing issues, identifying and analyzing trends and generating various billing reports. Their duties involve sourcing and vetting vendors, negotiating contracts and presenting deals to decision makers. The **Billing/Procurement Analyst** is responsible for customer invoicing and will play a key role in supply chain management serving as a liaison between Apogee ITS and our vendors. They must be proficient in account reconciliation, inventory management, sourcing of equipment, collections and performing analysis of contracts and invoices to ensure compliance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Understanding the needs of the employer, communicating these needs with potential vendors, choosing the best vendors, closing deals and negotiating optimal pricing and terms for the company.
- Documenting the costs for all vendors, generating monthly cost reports to present to stakeholders, documenting the communication cycle with potential vendor leads using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Inventory management - develop proper procedures for collecting data, providing records management and controlling budgets. Ensure transparency, compliance, and accountability within the company.
- Running complex billing and exception reports, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and recommending process improvements based on this work.
- Analyzing billing for trends and possible issues on a regular basis, running reports including measurement reports, preparing reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Collecting payments on overdue accounts, contacting clients to make collection arrangements. Professional handling of client inquiries, (including providing detailed client reconciliations and statements as required and resolving payment disputes.)
- Working on or assisting with special projects, as needed, which require data extraction, analysis, and reporting of results.
- Processing sales order deposits as needed.
- Ensuring all data is correct and updated in ConnectWise configuration tab/renewals.
- Sourcing equipment for the Client Executive team as needed.
- Performing other related duties, as needed, including leading projects, training or team meetings.

- **Exceptional Negotiation Skills**: to get the best terms possible from vendors. This involves having a deep understanding of employer’s goals and budget.
- **Decision Making Skills**: making informed and educated decisions on whether or not to purchase from a particular vendor.
- **Collaborative Skills**: ability to work with multiple departments within an organization to understand their needs.
- Proficiency in electronic procurement and analytical software.
- In-depth business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing knowledge.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
