**Job Summary**:
The Group Leader will be responsible for the shift supervision in the Production department (Stamping). The Group Leader will coordinate activities of Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a team environment and improving all methods. This position works a three-shift rotation for the Stamping department (Days, Afternoons, Midnights).

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Review production schedule to ensure manufacturing of product(s) is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.
- Plan and review production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
- Utilize the appropriate personnel based on skill set.
- Evaluate, develop, and ensure appropriate training processes are completed when employees move to different jobs.
- Ensure safety and quality requirements and procedures for the area are understood and met.
- Provide assistance to team members in solving problems/concerns that affect their performance.
- Develop and coordinate cost reduction activities to achieve yearly targets.
- Monitor and make adjustments to meet expectations for quality, productivity, 5S and safety**.**:

- Open to other duties as assigned to meet departmental requirements.

**Education/Experience Desired**:

- Strong technical skills (manufacturing and mechanical)
- Proficient personal computer and software skills
- Proficient mathematical skills
- Minimum three years’ manufacturing experience, stamping experienced preferred
- Supervisory experience

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
