Lively, Canada Flying Post Camp and Logistics Full time

Flying Post Camp and Logistics (FPCL) has become well known in the Sudbury and Timmins area. FPCL's primary focus is on construction for remote workforce housing and modular accommodations, along with site services in the remote work camp industry.

We are currently seeking a **Business Operations Manager **to join our team.

**Location**: Lively, ON

**Salary**:$90,000 to $130,000- depending on experience and credentials.

Work Schedule**:Monday to Friday**

**Job Type**:Full-time

**Responsibilities**
- Assume a leadership role in the company’s activities.
- Coordinating and achieving goals and KPIs set by Senior Management.
- Ensuring administrative, finance and operational activities are being executed within the business parameters.
- Develop strategic initiatives to improve efficiency throughout the business.
- Act as the lead for contract management functions.
- Ensure all cost are being tracked accordingly.
- Support the preparation of project and operational related reporting.
- Have a clear understanding of work sequencing and various construction activities.
- Having a general ability to review and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Assist in short and long-term planning, monitoring and coordination.
- Communicate updates with Senior Management.
- Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Lead and assist with estimating and risk management as required.
- Manage and provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training and support as needed.
- Have a clear understanding of project scope(s), the sequence of tasks, milestones, project related risks, and the critical path(s).
- Respond to the client requests and inquiries
- Assist in the implementation and usage of ERP systems
- Supervise team members as assigned

**Education/ Qualifications**
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Technical, or Engineering related discipline.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle from RFP through to close out.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience preferred.
- Contract Management experience
- Preferred is to have prior exposure to:

- Construction, budgets, scheduling, monitoring/ reporting estimating people management, ERP systems, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent time management skills

**Other Requirements**
- G Class Driver’s license with clean driving record (abstract required if hired).
- Must be conversant with OHSA regulations and comply with the site safety plan and rules.
