Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Clerk will have the opportunity to be part of a fast growing and dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of finance related duties, including expense reporting accounts payable and office administration. A consummate professional, this individual is comfortable in a manufacturing environment and assisting the Operations, Sales and Marketing departments with various administrative duties.

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. Motif operates as a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing services to Licensed Producers (LP's) and 3rd Party Brands. **Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Co-ordinate with approvers to have invoices appropriately approved and coded in a timely fashion
- Process approved invoices and outside purchase invoices in NAV. Issue weekly payments via cheque/EFT/ACH/wire.
- Review and investigate aged purchase orders on a weekly basis
- Clear aged items from monthly AP reconciliations and reconcile vendor statements monthly.
- Develop strong relationships with internal customers, stores and vendors;
- Prepare brand fee statements and ensure all out of pocket expenses are charged back to the brand; and
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in business administration or equivalent
- In the process of completing or has completed the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) program considered an asset but not a requirement
- 2 to 5 years of accounts payable experience
- 2 to 5 years of payroll experience

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
