A Pickering family is looking for a support person to assist their family member in a variety of areas in her life. This woman and her family are looking for a support person who would be able to help find and support opportunities that would lead to making contributions and building relationships with neighbours and community members.

The right person is comfortable and friendly when interacting with others in the community. The right person is creative and excited to use that creativity to assist this woman in finding new interests and places to contribute. The family is looking for someone warm and caring in their approach, gregarious, dependable, patient, and respectful. You will need to know the Pickering area and enjoy driving.

You will need to be comfortable providing full assistance in all areas of this woman’s life. She does experience mobility issues, therefore support needs to be physically able to provide that assistance.

This is part-time work, with hours of work to be discussed but some availability during the week for daytime work at least once a week will be needed and once or twice a week in the evening hours potentially.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
