**Barista Chef - Desi Bar & Grill**

**About Us**
- Desi Bar & Grill is a vibrant Indian fusion restaurant offering an authentic yet modern take on Indian cuisine. We are known for bold flavors, a lively ambiance, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are currently looking for an experienced Barista Chef to join our kitchen team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a full range of hot and cold espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, etc.)
- Create and serve Indian-style drinks (filter coffee, masala chai, cutting chai)
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machine, grinders, steam wand)
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in every cup
- Assist in developing seasonal or signature drinks (e.g. saffron latte, rose cappuccino)
- Maintain a clean, organized and health-code-compliant workstation
- Track inventory and notify management for restocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen team for food & coffee pairings
- Offer recommendations to guests and educate them on drink options
- Optional: Basic latte art and coffee-related dessert plating

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous barista experience (1+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and milk texturing
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Indian-style coffee or chai is a strong asset
- Excellent hygiene practices and attention to detail
- Friendly attitude with strong customer service skills
- Food handler’s certification (preferred)
