At our **Stratford Facility** we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

**Job Type**: 6 month Contract
- Truck Driver
**Availability**: Afternoon shift and weekends as needed.

The Truck Driver is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to parts and materials to various destinations. This role involves ensuring the timely and safe delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

**Tasks**:

- Parts delivery to other plants, customers and vendors.
- Safe operation of company equipment.
- Assist Shipping and Receiving in the loading and unloading of trucks when required.
- Help maintain a neat and organized shop and yard.
- Securing loads in a safe manner with no damage to product.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures

**Working Conditions**:

- Extensive physical effort required. Lifting up to 50lb manually.
- Walking, sitting, standing, bending.
- Driving forklift considered an asset.
- Industrial Environment consisting of: dust, noise, machine, oils, weld fumes, weld flash, metal shavings from waste stock and compressed gasses.
- Personal Protective Equipment provided and must be worn.

**Sensory Attention**:

- Constant Safety awareness of machinery and equipment being used.
- Incumbent must use safe operating procedures while using equipment at all times.
- Constant awareness that proper lifting and bending procedures are practiced to prevent injury.

**Mental Stress**:

- Well organized individual, communication skills imperative when dealing with customers and vendors
- Constant attention to detail and care of product.
- Demands regarding time lines.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade twelve education or equivalent,
- Valid AZ Drivers License, with flat deck and roll-tight experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills,
- Hazardous goods and trucking regulations (permits)
- Clean driver abstract (preferred)

**Licenses & Certifications**: Preferred
- Fork Lift License
