**Position Description**

COWS is looking for an Ice Cream Maker Assistant.

**Job duties**
- Making ice cream according to COWS recipe guides
- Maintain cleanliness in Ice Cream Production area
- Putting ice cream away in the freezer
- Picking ice cream orders from freezer for shipments across Canada
- Work with Quality to utilize and maintain proper food safe procedures
- Back up to Manager, Ice Cream, if needed
- Assist in Research and Development in the off season, as needed
- Assist T-Shirt Production, Warehouse and Cheese in the off season, as needed
- Other duties as needed

**Qualifications**
- Production experience considered an asset
- Minimum education of High School

**Other Skills and Attributes**
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Good planning/scheduling of time
- Excellent at working in a team environment
- Good communication skills

**Working Conditions**
- Fast paced environment
- Heavy lifting up to 30lbs
- Requires lots of time in the freezer. Working in a -35 degree environment. Clothes for freezer provided
- Repetitive Tasks

**Other information**
- **Reports to**: Manager, Ice Cream
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday; 7am - 4pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
