**Full Job Description**:
Turck Canada is looking for a high energy, motivated Shipping/Receiving Individual to join our team in the warehouse in Markham, ON. This person should have skill experience in both shipping processes and the packing of outgoing shipments and are able to work in a fast-paced environment.

For over 35 years, Turck Canada has provided high-quality process automation and industrial networking products to manufacturers and distributors across Canada. We are a customer-oriented company, and warehouse operations reflect that priority.

Details:

- 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM), occasional overtime
- Paid sick time and vacation
- Benefits Package (after 3 months probation)

Job Summary

The Shipping/Receiving person will work with the Shipping/Receiving Process Coordinator on a daily basis and report to the Shipping & Warehouse Manager.
This person will be responsible for completing and ensuring the efficient flow of products into and out of the warehouse. This person must have the appropriate thinking capabilities and attention to detail.

Other skills and requirements:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to maintain positive working relationships and ethics with other team members
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs over short distances (recommended)
- Use of a ladder
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Office and Outlook, and willing to learn to use new software
- Experience with shipping and/or receiving is an asset
- Lift truck operation experience a plus

Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily priorities - receiving, picking, packing, weighing and labelling of rushes, scheduled shipments, general shipping, putting away stock, packing and placing of overflow stock, etc.
- Follow established company guidelines regarding the packing of shipments and storage
- Communicate with the inside sales team in regards to special customer shipments, order changes, rush shipments, shipping issues and delays, and other questions or requests
- Receiving of some specific shipments onto computer system, aiding in physical checking/receiving if necessary
- Ensure paperwork relating to incoming and outgoing shipments is organized after each day
- Help with a variety of warehouse tasks when able/necessary
- Maintain a clean work area

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
